Where reinforcements were previously necessary, the steel material and the well thought-out design of the hardware installation work together to create a homogeneous appearance. This means that both doors with burglary protection up to RC2 and doors without burglary protection can now be installed in a single room with no visual difference. Optimum use can also be made of the height required in commercial buildings, for example: up to a door height of 3,000 mm, a single additional top lock can now be fitted instead of a multi-point lock. This means that costs can be saved as early as the element creation stage, especially if a motorized version is used. Special shapes are possible on request (e.g. a round arch).
Doors from the Janisol system can be produced with CE marking up to a height of 3,000 mm. It goes without saying that all types are tested and certified, i.e. regardless of whether a single- or double-leaf door, a finger protection door, a door with a tilting fanlight or an adjacent fixed panel are also required, the Jansen system guarantees safety.
A panic function is also an important requirement that can be met by the tested Janisol doors. The filling elements in the relevant radius can be designed with P5A glass with 8 mm polycarbonate in accordance with EN 356.
The different glazing bead options that have been tested also offer design freedom: whether technically appealing with locking screws or elegant with a continuous look with a glazing rebate seal, nothing stands in the way of the different designs. Glass or sheet metal fillings, which can be designed to be flush, are also available. A new, invisible drilling protection is used to ensure an elegant appearance.
A threshold-free entrance area is often a requirement for public buildings in particular. This on-site requirement can also be met with Janisol doors, offering protection against break-ins. The new range of locks offers a further security benefit: self-locking locks prevent a door from being left open accidentally.
Design and protection don't always have to be expensive. In order to minimize the amount of work and materials required, the solution was developed in close cooperation with experts from the field. Some of the details already mentioned not only score points for their visual design aspects, but also offer solid, simple processing advantages:
For example, sizes up to a sash height of 2,300 mm or even 3,000 mm can be built with a single-point lock or a single-point lock with top lock. This not only saves the cost of an expensive multi-point lock, but also the additional work involved in installing it. The glazing beads with just two locking screws or the glazing rebate seal also save time and material - because previously more screws were required, which took more time to install. The elements required to secure the burglary protection are also much simpler to handle: Hinge locks can be installed quickly and the elegant tapping protection in the form of a tapping plate is easy to fit. The top locking mechanism required for sash heights > 2,300 mm originally comes from the Janisol Arte 2.0 system and was specially developed to ensure that the contact pressure is as simple as possible and can be achieved in just a few steps.
