As a market leader in the steel system business, the acquisition of RP Technik will allow Jansen to strengthen its core competences in the product development and marketing of steel profile systems for windows, doors and facades, achieve even better market penetration and supplement its overall product range.
Jansen is acquiring RP Technik GmbH along with its staff and the Bönen location in Germany is to be retained. RP Technik will remain active on the market with its brand and its proven products.
The two family enterprises Jansen and Welser Profile, a leading manufacturer of special profiles and special profile tubes, are also embarking on strategic production and development cooperation. Among other things, synergies are to be used to strengthen the product and innovation pipeline. For system customers, Jansen and Welser Profile will in future be optimising the entire supply and logistics chain from a single source.
