Facade door – high resilience

Landside by car, seaside by boat: built directly on a quay, Biltrend Tromsø Motorcenter is easy to reach for land and water vehicles. A double-wing facade door made from the Jansen VISS steel system enables boats to be lifted directly onto the water from the exhibition area on the top floor using a mobile crane. The high resilience of the steel profiles made it possible to close the 4.80 meter wide opening with only a two-wing construction. The two wings are each 4.10 meters high. The robust steel profiles guarantee the reliable function of the movable facade elements over a long period of time.
